What’s on the Horizon?
Sunday Suppers
A tranquil end to your weekend. Gathering around good food is core to the Steue aim. Our Sunday Suppers invite members and guests to settle into a relaxing dinner prepared by visiting chefs in unique local settings. These evenings are designed as a restorative pause before the work week begins—a space for relaxed camaraderie where the burdens of planning, cooking, and cleaning are replaced by a seat at a ready-made table. With no menus to navigate and no cleanup to manage, you are free to simply enjoy the food and the company before the Monday rush returns.
Salons
Socialize with substance. Our Salons offer a stage for Members, Friends, and guests to share their work, their passions, and their hidden talents. Whether it’s a poetry reading, an acoustic performance, a deep dive into the creative process, or an intimate talk on the inspiration behind a creative piece, these gatherings are designed to spark conversation and add a layer of cultural depth to your day. It’s more than entertainment; it’s an opportunity to enrich your perspective and connect through the arts.
The Workshop
(Re)discover your inner artist. As children, we were all natural creators, but for many of us, that instinctual spark dimmed over time. Drawing inspiration from The Artist’s Way and The Creative Act: A Way of Being, The Atelier is designed to help you find and exercise your creative muscle through hands-on workshops that (re)introduce you to a variety of creative forms—whether written, visual, or built. Our aim is to help you reclaim the focus, the flow, and the simple joy of making something from nothing.
Education & Enrichment
Expand your horizons. Education & Enrichment programming is designed to feed the intellect, provide practical wisdom, and broaden the perspective through expert-led talks, skill-sharing, and topical deep-dives. From understanding complex global systems to mastering practical life skills, the programming will provide the curriculum for a well-lived, well-informed life.
Experiences, Explorations, & Excursions
Find your (new) passion. Before something's your passion, it's something you know nothing about. Our Experiences, Explorations, and Excursions programming is built on a simple goal: to get you out, get you curious, and get you trying. We aim to strengthen your curiosity muscle through shared exploration because no one starts with a passion—they start with curiosity.
The Common Good
Purpose in practice. The Common Good is our dedicated space for service and civic contribution. Whether through a giving circle to fund local causes, providing seed funding for member projects, or engaging in hands-on volunteering, we aim to turn our collective efforts into tangible good. This is where camaraderie meets conscience—allowing us to support the community while strengthening the bonds between our members.
